Dean Roman creates elementary constructions of wood, monofilament, candles, thread + a variety of other materials to produce contemporary reliquaries which preserve, honor + display fragments of personal experience.

Dean Roman holds a BFA in Painting as well as an MFA in Painting and Sculpture and has been a Professor of Art and Design, Gallery Director, After School Program Coordinator, Educational Technology Consultant + Pastry Chef. He currently focuses on web design, social media strategy + eLearning course development.
